I signed up but wasn't home to view the webcast. I'm sooo disappointed. Does anyone know if there will be a repeat?
I enjoyed listening, but it was all elementary to me. Great for newbies though! I would have to suggest that the woman doing the interviewing brush on her public speaking skills - she seemed very awkward and there were too many "uh, yeah" comments for me.
Perhaps I focused a bit too much on the grammar and presentation due to the fact that all the information presented was things I already knew. Again though - great idea for the newbies! Good job!
The Cakefu.com webinars have been running every two weeks on Tuesdays. This was the third one. The moderator is a cake decorator herself and has appeared on cake challenges.
Would be great if they could REPEAT it - at a better time for international members..... this last one ended up being 3.15am
They really need to change the name of the website...All I could think of was cake-f.u. I don't know what it stands for but I don't think that's the impression they want to make
Maybe it is supposed to be like Kung Fu, but Cake Fu.
Maybe
...But I just told my 15-yo the name of it and he's laughing so hard he's crying. He keeps saying "No! No! Really? Fail!"
costumczar- I thought the same thing the first time I heard the name. I still giggle everytime I see/ hear it too.
