I just received a request from a friend asking me to make her cake balls with a Hawaiian theme and colorful. I am at a loss of ideas for a Hawaiian themed cake ball and would LOVE any suggestions.

What about coconut or pineapple shaped cake balls?

I see them with piped 'grass skirts' and little flower leis.

color the cake blue, dip the top in shredded coconut, make tiny straws and maraschino to top like a cocktail!
or color it blue and add a fish or seashell, brown sugar for sand......
