I have never heard this until I was watch Amazing Wedding Cakes tonight and one of the shops turned the lights off to decorate a cake with black fondant because they said light fades fondant. I use black fondant and have never seen any fading or at least any noticable fading. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this or know this to be true. Interested in everyones replies!

I just saw that program as well, maybe if you waited days in the sunlight it would, but in their case I don' know it would fade that fast.
