I am TRYING to make European buttercream and I messed up, I added 1 cup corn syrup instead of 1/2 cup!!!!! Here is the recipe I used

European Buttercream

6 large egg yolks
1/2 liquid cup corn syrup
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups butter

Is there ANYWAY to save this.....it's REALLY thin! UGH!!!! icon_cry.gif

Make up another recipe, minus the corn syrup and mix the two b/c's together. icon_smile.gif

Oh no...that won't work, after thinking about it for a minute, I realized I have to boil the corn syrup with the sugar. Any other ideas??? I hate the thought of wasting ALL that butter...and the eggs...ugh!
