I don't normally do this type of decorations, but one of my coworkers just retired after almost 29 years on the job and I have been asked to make his cake. I want to put on his badge, hand cuffs, and a few other things I know I can do myself. I am stumped on how to do the hat. I have lots of black fondont....but that is as far as I get. HELP.

Are you making fondant cut-outs or going 3D?
