I need to make some spring flowers for a cake this weekend, I have never done flowers with icing, have done a few with gum paste. Not sure what tip to use or the technique to making flowers. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
If you took any of the wilton classes they covered several different flowers you can make with either BC or royal icing..The class books are great because they show you how and then you keep the books for reference.I still have mine and look through them from time to time when I need to try different flowers...
The easiest though is a drop flower which is made with any star tip and twisting your wrist when you drop and pipe it.
