Using Cupcake Recipe For A Cake?

Can I use a recipe for cupcakes to bake a regular cake? Are there adjustments that I would need to make? I am still new to baking and haven't tried this yet but have a recipe I would love to try as a cake.

The only difference that I know of is that I have to bake the cakes longer than the cupcakes. Other than that you shouldn't have a problem.
