Hi everyone! I was wondering if I could get some help with making a camo baseball hat. I purchased the Wilton sports ball pan and had planned on using that with either RKT or cake. My question is how can I make a realistic looking bill? Also, what is the best way to make camo fondant? I tried a practice run and it didn't look as nice as I had hoped.

Thanks so much for the help!!!

I made the bill on my had out of gumpaste placed over a real ballcap bill covered in plastic wrap. For fondant camo I used different shades of green, brown and white. Placed odd shapes of the fondant on a piece of vinyl mat and rolled it out. It worked well for me. You can see a couple of camo cakes in my photos.
