Hi! Can anyone direct me to a website of template program to print ingredient labels. My state recently passed a cottage food law and I now need to label all products with their ingredeitns, my contact info, and an allergen warning. Thanks!

We just buy mailing labels from Staples, 2"x4" labels are usually a good size to fit ingredients. The labels should include directions on how to download Microsoft Word templates so you know how much you can fit on each label.

Just wondering........if you use a doctored cake mix for your recipe, do you have to "cake mix" on the label as one of the ingredients, or do they just want you to put the eggs and milk, etc on the label??

Everything, I list everything in the cake mix as well. Even if it is pure chocolate, you MUST write "ingredients: milk chocolate" (at least where i live icon_smile.gif )

I just get the same labels as Jason, but I found mine at the dollar store. $1 for 300
