I need help!!! I made a cake, new recipe and it turned out soo hard. I followed the recipe to the best of my ability. what would cause the cake to turn so hard?? pls help, any suggestions??
It might be helpful to post the ingredients you used....sometimes using even a tad more than you should of one ingredient can throw it off.....
Really hard to say, sometimes a recipe just sucks. Try another? Or try modifying this one a little with more fat (tender texture), sugar (moisture), and using the chiffon method if you are not already.
Well I've tasted the recipe n its awesome!! so I know its something I did wrong. Im gonna try it again to see...thanks for the tip

Do you mean to ask what is the chiffon method? It is where you separate the eggs and whip the whites with some of the sugar then fold it into the rest of the batter at the end. It makes for light and fluffy cake and can be done with virtually any recipe.
