So I got some chocolate(bulk), they are in a plastic bag right now. I usually store them in the freezer in a Ziploc bag they stay ok but I notice white spots on them sometimes. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Where should I store them freezer/fridge /cupboard??
& how in a bag/air tight container/jar??
TIA

Does it get really hot in your house in the summer? If not, then just store it in bags, take out as much air as possible, then keep it in a cabinet.

Most chocolate will develop a 'bloom' over time. I think that is the cocoa butter coming to the surface. It doesn't harm the chocolate.
