So I placed an order last week and realized i did not put down a small thing of Dragees... went to order today and I realized they are out of stock! ;-(

I'm looking for 4mm or 5mm <or a good size to have just a few on cupcakes> And i dont need a lot, I was thinking a 4oz bottle would do me for while.

Know of anywhere that ships quick and has a good price?

Thanks

Technically they are... but in general silver isn't....

You would have to eat a LOT of them to affect you. But I generally tell customers to pick them off. icon_smile.gif

Don't know if you have Harris Teeter grocery, but they have them.

Generally they are harder on your teeth than they are in making anyone sick. Silver dragees have been around forever and I dont remember anyone having an adverse reaction to eating a few...of course get the Food Police involved and they'll find something I'm sure...then lookout for class action lawsuits.
Anyway, to get back to your question, I think most people pick them off anyway and if they don't it won't kill them.

I see you are from NC, so it looks like you are safe. But for those in other states, this is from sugar craft dot com

"DRAGEES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR DISTRIBUTION OR SALE IN THE STATES OF:
CALIFORNIA, TEXAS, COLORADO, NEW JERSEY, ARIZONA, FLORIDA
Please check with your local applicable state agencies to ascertain the regulations pertaining to your specific state before purchasing. If any purchase is made illegally, you may be prosecuted to the full extent of your state laws. We will not ship even though you order these if it is illegal for you to get them.

I'd just check and be sure it's still ok to use them in NC though. Most of these states have only been added to the list over the past couple years.

try fancyflours.com. Little more expensive, but they have more size options.

Read this...it's interesting how lawyers insert themselves into something they really know nothing about. If those other states are on the bandwagon you can bet that it's because that lawyer in California won a case so now every attorney sees an opportunity to make a buck. We certainly don't want to be making decisions for ourselves! Better stock up on them while we can.
