I used my normal MMF recipe and colored it a deep violet. When I tried to roll it out I noticed it's cracking and has that "elephant skin" look to it. Is it because of all the gel coloring? What can be done. I have only used white fondant as a base prior to this so it's my first experience coloring that much fondant.
And of course the cake is to be delivered tomorrow and I just want it to be okay
I should also mention that I used fondant that I had previously made and put in the freezer. Was that a bad choice?
