Has anyone made the cheesecake lover's WASC on Macsmom gourmet flavors page? I was just wondering that it doesn't have any yogurt or sour cream in it, if maybe this was a typo, or the cream cheese was able to take its place.... I'd just rather not make it and find out I need to run back out to the grocery for more ingredients. Thanks!

I have made that recipe several times and it is good!!! If I remember correctly, it uses cheesecake pudding AND the cream cheese.. which takes the place of the sour cream!!!

I have not made that one yet... but needless to say, Macsmom is my hero, and i have ALWAYS had phenomenal experiences with every cake of hers I have done! I think you have gotten your answer...but when in doubt PM her, she is great at responding!

I know this is an older topic, but has anyone tried this recipe with white chocolate rather than the milk chocolate?

Are there any tips or hints you have for making this cake come out correctly the first time?

Thanks!

I think this is it:

Cheesecake Lovers - MacsMom

2 boxes white cake mix
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 pkg cheesecake pudding mix
1-1/2 t salt
1 pkg light cream cheese
6 eggs *Blend eggs into softened cream cheese before adding to batter.
1-1/3 cup Italian Sweet Cream coffee creamer (Coffee Mate)
1-1/3 cup water
1/4 c oil
2 t vanilla extract
2 t butter flavoring

Thanks, Shanter. I have the recipe. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it with white chocolate rather than milk/semi-sweet chocolate. Also, some recipes can have quirks, and I was hoping for any tips to make sure this cake comes out right the first time.

I should have quoted CakeMom5001. My post was for her.

A couple questions for those who have made this... Is it sturdy enough for fondant and carving? Also is it stable enough to not be refrigerated for a couple days prior to the event (for Decorating and such).  Thx

Hi!

I have been looking for macsmom cake recipes for months... I've only been successful in finding one, which was the chocolate wasc recipe. Would you happen to have other recipes or an updated link? I have scoured the internet looking for her cake recipes...

Thanks!
