I am going to be trying my first attempt at a pregnant belly cake for a baby shower. I want to use the big pyrex bowl (i believe 4qt?) but i have no idea how long to bake the cake in it for. I am brand new at baking and would love all of the help i can get! thank you so much!
I made a cake like this and did the belly part in a pyrex dish. I didn't know how long to bake it either, so I did it at the temperature that the recipe called for and just kept peeking in the oven (without opening the door) until it looked pretty firm and then I started testing it with a toothpick every 10 minutes till it was totallly set. Worked pretty well!
