I just thought I would share with you all a recent corporate project I did. It was 10 cakes, for Fox tv. Crime sweet crime is the title of the presentation - they were promoting their new tv channel Fox Crime. If you click the link, there is a photo slideshow, and a "making of" button. The video is so cool. I had a photographer shadowing me for the whole week (stressful at times!) taking pictures and video, but I'm really happy with the results. I went for 2 days without sleep to get this done.

Amazing! Your cakes are fabulous. The video is just too cool!

How did you make the world map?

The "Making Of" video is very cool! The cakes turned out awesome!

What I want to know is...who got to eat them? icon_smile.gif

ETA: Oops, typed too soon. The video kept stopping to load, so I asked that before I saw the end.

Oops, just realised I meant to post it in the Cake Decorating forum.

Thanks guys. The world map was done in royal icing. I printed the world map in reverse, traced it on a large sheet of parchment, then traced it back onto the fondant. I went over the pencil lines with black RI, and flooded in red in the relevant countries. Some of the pencil lines were too thin, so I think I may have made a boo-boo somewhere around Lithuania icon_biggrin.gif

The map is incredible. Thanks for the explanation. I'm even more impressed now!

I wouldn't fret too much over the boo-boos. I'll betcha a dozen borders moved before you cut the first slice. icon_smile.gif
