Hi everyone,

This is the very first time I have tried to make cookies and I want them for a party. Because it is a large quantity i need to make them n advance. Once I decorate them (I am going to use fondant) how should I store them? I dont want to put them on top of each other in case it spoils the icing can any one please give me some suggestions?

I make fondant covered cookies all the time. Storing them is easy. Once they are complete and completely dry you can stack them without any damage to the cookie or fear of spoilage. When I make them for an event I usually individually package them. But if you are not packaging them individaully they will be OK stored in a covered container until you need them. Stack them carefully and them will be OK. Hope this helps.

Will the cookies go soft like biscuits unless airtight?

I had to made a ton for my daughter's wedding, and I just bagged them after i decorated them. Then I put them in large Tupperware container (25 per container) and froze them. They came out perfect and tasted great! icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif
