hi all can anyone give me a little advice? i've got to do a cadburys dairy milk bar cake this week. It needs to have like a peel back wrapper effect. the cake itself is going to be rich chocolate sponge and there is going to be exposed chunks at one end so was going to cover that with chocolate paste. However I need to do it to have a "chunk" effect, then a peeled back wrapper and the wrapper that then goes round that. How woudl you go about this? would you make the chunk effect in the paste or carve a bit of the cake. I'm a bit concerned cos it may be 3 layers of fondant. the chocolate... then the inner wrapper then the outer wrapper. How would you do this? cover whole cake in the choc then add thin layers for the wrapper etc? I just don't want tons of layers or it to look lumpy? thanks everyone
