I would like to use the WASC recipe found here on CC and would like to know if anyone ever doubled this recipe for larger cakes and how did it turn out? I want to do a 11x15 sheet cake which is about 11 cups of batter, I think.

I have tripled the recipe with no problems.....3 cake mixes, 3 cups of flour etc. You should have no problem with that icon_smile.gif

I have started doing it so I can make both my 10" and 6" layers at the same time. Saves so much time and I haven't had any problems.

my standard size kitchen aid mixer (4.5qt) can handle a double batch of WASC (2 box mix, 2 flour etc)

I double it in my Kitchen Aid too! Good luck!

I have done the 3 boxes of cake mix, 3 cups flour etc. in my 7 qt Cuisinart but that is about as high as it will go.
