I would have posted this under Cake Disasters but its really not a disaster *only to me as the decorator*

Have you ever made a cake and added something to it that, at the time sounded really nice, but then once you started it or added it to the cake you regretted it immediately?

And once you added it... it was too late to remove it or it would mess up the cake?

I just did it with a cake... lol I decorated a cake and thought, "hmmm, this needs edible glitter" and then after adding it - regretted it :/


Just wondering....

It was just last week and it too was edible glitter.. I was doing a cake for my niece and she wanted fancy nancy... I had done the edible image on gum paste and butterflies.. and then added heart glitter to the top and hated it... she loved it but I thought it was too much.. wasn't crazy about the added writing I did to the sides either.. but sometimes I don't know when to stop..
