...and wow! what a success!!! Granted, I did it in smallish parts, but my 4.5 qt KA was a trooper!

I made it into 500g/1.10 lb portions to 1/2 tsp gel color to start, and it actually was the right ratio for the color I needed, but I figured start there, so I could keep all batches uniform in color. I used the bread hook and kept the speed at 1, mostly 2.

I had read a tip somewhere along my research though, which I think was key...rub Crisco in your bowl and on the bread hook. I did this after each batch.
