Hi Everyone, I just recieved a request for a two tier wedding cake very simple. The bride would like to use her 3d dress shaped jewelry stand for the topper and then she asked for a tuxedo bow tie to be "thrown" on to land on the second tier some what.

so, the stand is ivory, cream white in color and the bow tie is black, she wants to keep it simple but would like if i would come up with a few ideas.

i am thinking of perhaps making a quilting effect for the bottom tier and adding black pearls, or maybe using the billowing effect for the bottom tier with black accents?

what do you think! too dressy maybe?
