Hey guys,
So by word of mouth, I am being given the opportunity to make cupcakes for a Junior Prom in May! Can you believe how ecstatic I am?! <--that grin was on my face all day.
Now I have a few questions...mainly about how to put them on a stand. I currently own this one..
http://www.thecupcaketower.com/small-cupcake-tower/
The only problem is, in order to upgrade to the larger tower, it would cost me over $100, which I can't afford, plus it will only hold about 200. The order is for 300 cupcakes, and even with my small tower, which says it holds 72, only holds about 50.
If anyone can think of a cheap and clever idea for a stand that I can make or buy, please let me know!!! Thanks!
I recently ordered mine from
http://www.efavormart.com/
I think they are way cheaper than other online stores, I ordered the 8" to 18" but I bought the 6" separately with the tube, so now I have a 7 teir, so you can order a 6 teir & make it a 10 teir if you want lol
Another thing make sure you make them pay rent for the stand this way a couple of rents you'll certainly get your money back if not more than what you spent
Also there was a thread tutorial/pictorial about building your own CC stand, here I found it

Encircle the tower with the rest of the cupcakes on the table if you don't want to buy a new one. It looks nice that way.
I made one out of plywood and flower pots, and it was relatively inexpensive to make. It's in my photos. You can use bigger pieces of plywood, and you can decorate it any way you want.
