So I recently bought a cupcake tower teirs from 6"-18", wanting to make cupcake towers

So my question is what size of pan should I get 6"x2" or 6"x3"??
& in such picture do you use 2 cakes (with BC between them ) or one??
Sorry to ask such question but I never made fondant covered cakes before so I'm a newbie at this
Use a 6" round, 2" deep pan and bake two layers to make a 4 inch high cake. I would probably torte the layers as well which means slice the cakes in half horizontally and add filling between each layer. If you want the cake to look higher then you could use a 1/2" foam core cake drum in place of a cardboard circle. Hope that helps!
