Hey!

I'm trying to figure out how to do the technique where you can put say one color of fondant onto another and when you roll it out..it looks like one piece.

I tried to lay small polka dots on some fondant so that when I rolled it out the polka dots would be bigger, but the polka dots just looked disconnected.

Does anyone know this technique?

Thanks,
Lori

You need to roll out both colours to the same thickness, cut out the polka dot, then cut the same size dot out of the background colour and fill that hole with the polka dot, and roll again. It's called an 'inlay' I think.
