Frist Time Makeing Cream Cheese Frosting

I had to make it last night, I`ll be using it on Fri. When I take it out of the fridg. Should i let it come to room temp. And then beat it??? TIA

I use it a room temp. But yeah, that seems to be a big debate on here. To refrigerate or not to refrigerate, that is the question! LOL! I let mine come to room temp & I keep it there. But I don't sell them either. I was using cream cheese icing before I knew how to smooth a cake & I have never made anyone sick.
I also avoid using a blender on it, makes it runny for some reason. The less you beat it the better. HTH!

Yes. Though you can still beat it if it's still a bit cool. I take my buttercream (it has cream cheese and butter in it) out of the cooler and let it sit overnight to be room temp in the morning.

Mine never do either. I think it's just set up to only alert if you have replied or mark it to watch.

Click on the highlighted "here" and it will take you to your post, where you can click "watch this topic for replies". That works for me. Hope it works for you too!
