For the first time I am trying to use a gumpaste border mold for my cake. The mold is about 6" long and has a pretty intricate design. How do I make it so it will be long enough to go around the bottom my cake? If I do them at the 6" intervals, I will have lots of seams and it will look awful. Please help!!! Thank you!

Does the mold cut off or leave it open at the ends? If it's open and you're careful you could make the gumpaste/fondant strip as long as you need it, and just move the mold along until the whole thing is done, that way there are no seams. Good luck!
