My friend's baker just backed out. She needs a cake saturday and i have to leave thursday morning. Is there any way i could make and decorate the cake by thurs morning and it be ok for saturday afternoon? or would she be better to go to a grocery store at this point? yes, she will get her money back

I suppose it depends on what kind of a cake and filling it is. Does it need to be refridgerated? If yes, that might be iffy if you have fondant or gumpaste decorations on it. But yes, there are meny cakes you could make and leave for 2 days, just keep them in a cool place away from sunlight

don't use a perishable filling, keep out of sunlight, and it will be fine. icon_smile.gif
