I tend to use Global because of the selection. I'm sure there must be cheaper ones out there, though! Will watch this thread to find out!

Definitely Global Sugar Arts. Great service - great selection. Cheap doesn't always mean better.

In the caking world, lets face it, cheap isn't better. Cheap brand name stuff is probably a knock-off. I like GSA since I can trust their product. Could I get it a dollar or two cheaper elsewhere? Perhaps - but I wouldn't get the same peace of mind that I get from a site I know. Could I get knock offs way cheaper elsewhere? Yeah - but the quality just isn't the same.

Try www.craftyconfections.com they have an on-line store. I use them all the time. Very reliable and the prices are good. Name brand stuff like wilton and CK.

I buy some things from www.cakesupplies4u.com (mainly fondant since they are very local for me), CK, and D&G Occasions.

But why are some websites blocked???

Don't forget to take into account shipping costs. Some sites have very low prices on their items but the shipping is so high that it ends up being less expensive to buy them from another site where the item prices are a bit higher but the shipping is reasonable. So don't forget do include shipping in your math to make sure you are getting the best deal. icon_biggrin.gif
