Help Needed For Cake Price Please???

Hi can anyone help me please? I have been asked to make this cake any ideas on how much to charge? Thanks Angie icon_biggrin.gif

Add up your ingredient costs, labor costs (a comparable hourly wage * the number of hours it will take to bake and decorate the cake), and overhead costs (insurance, licensing, rent, etc.) on a per cake basis. Then add 20-30% for your profit margin.

I would be at about $6.00 per serving on that one.

check out this topic on how to price a cake. Depending on where you're located and the cost of your ingredients will depend on what and how much you charge.

I would be at about $4.50, I wish I could get $6! But I think we have a lower cost of living up here, so it probably balances out.

All fondant with lots of fondant piece work = $4/serving + $.50/serving because it needs to be carved.
