I am making a cake for my husband's co-workers babyshower (as a gift). I want it to really look amazing... I can't quite come up with anything i think will make her more impressed and happy than maybe a unique diaper bag cake.
I am sure i can google tutorials on youtube, but i wanted your opinions:
shouldi just stick to a pretty 2 tiered cake? How difficult are the diaper cakes really? If i am going to want to pull my hair out over it being stressful i might save it for another time.... but if it isn't that bad then i would like to give it a try....
any tips/suggestions/thoughts would be appreciated... or, if you have another suggestion=)
Her husbands only request was pink and brown, and incorp a butterfly (or butterflies).

I made one that was fairly easy...

The hardest thing was covering it. But I hide the seems with the stripes. Really was not hard at all. Of course it wasn't as detailed as some on here either. But I would be happy to answer any questions that I can.

Good luck! thumbs_up.gif

Just remember that they're taller than the average tier and to treat it like a two tier cake when assembling...dowel and board halfway up (make the center board a smidge smaller than the cake layers above to prevent any possibility of protruding cardboard. Allow sufficient time for settling...
