I am looking for a good marble cake recipe for a friends cake that I am making for this coming weekend. Looking for it to be moist enough to make a tiered cake. Thanks!
Use your favorite yellow cake recipe. Remove 1/3 batter and add chocolate to taste. This way you do not have two different batters that may bake differently.
You can also use a white cake and keep some out and add chocolate to it. I melt some chocolate squares to add to the left out cake batter and swirl it into the white cake. I actually like the taste of this flavor better than yellow.
