Has anyone every tried using dream whip in their hersey's choc icing recipe?
I'm about to make some and thought about trying it.

I use the Hershey's recipe all the time and it works beautifully without adding anything. It would be interesting to know how it works with the Dream Whip.

Would love to know how it works too. I made 7 batches of the frosting for a cake last week (12 inches) and everyone loved the frosting . It would be really interesting to see what would happen if Dream Whip was added.

my thought was, since it makes the buttercream lighter/creamier, that it might do the same for the chocolate. I do luv the herseys choc, it is by far the best I have tasted.

It's for my sons bday cake, so if it's not perfect, no worries.

ok, made the icing. made a double batch and added 2 tbsp of dream whip and seems to be lighter/creamier. the taste appears to be the same. Didn't want to over do it, but i will definately use it again.

Are you all talking about the icing recipe on the Hershey's canister?

The recipe is posted on CC. it's titled chocolate syrup frosting. I think the only difference is the syrup
