I am just getting into the whole baking/decorating thing and would really like to make a 3 tiered cake for my sisters 30th soon, i gave it a go for my daughters birthday at the weekend and came across a slight issue. My tins are 10'' 8'' and 6'' but the recipes for these size tins don't fill my tin therefore the tiers will be uneven (without a lot of cutting and adjusting) so i just wondered if anyone has any recipes or tips on how i can get even, deepish tiers. The tins are 3'' deep and this is the depth i want to produce
