Can you use cocoa powder in IMBC instead of melted chocolate.

I just wasted a whole bag of Ghirardelli chips, the whole thing seized up into a solid crumbly mess even though I microwaved at 50% icon_confused.gif

I don't know about using cocoa powder, sorry. I used melted choc chips all the time. I microwave on 100% power all the time and my microwave is pretty darn powerful. I wonder if you might have gotten a little bit of water into the bowl with the chocolate - that could make it seize into a mess. Good luck!

Yes! I use cocoa powder until I like the color and it's perfect!

Thanks! That is what I did. I added the coffee to the chocolate instead of the IMBC.
