I don't know if this is the right area for this question, but....

I have a business willing to take my cakes (one at a time) and sell them by the slice and include a business card for me with each slice. What kinds of cakes would you make and how much would you charge per slice? (I'm figuring only making a 2 layer 8-9" cake at a time). TIA!!! icon_smile.gif

If this "business" is a restaurant-type business that's allowed to resell food from another legal business, just charge what your normal per serving slice is and let them mark it up to whatever they want.

Make what they order... what they want to offer on their menu. I'd suggest carrot cake and chocolate for starters.

In most places you will need a wholesale license which is separate from the kitchen license.
