My son's party is in 9 days and it would save me a lot of time to start making the pops asap. I'm making the alien and hamm cake pops, and I need about 100 each. Here is what I want to do:

03/13 = Bake all the cakes, mix with icing, shape them into the shapes I need, and then freeze them until it's time to decorate

03/14 to 03/17 = Start dipping, decorating, and packaging them. (After packaging them, I'll place them in a airtight container)

If I do this, will my cake pops still be fresh for the party? What else can I do to preserve the freshness?

Bake TODAY lolm shape and freeze them. Then 2-4 days ahead dip and decorate and package.

My cake pops are good for OVER a week and room temp.
