hi everyone.. i was wondering if anybody has done a rhinestone covered cake?.. and i mean, the WHOLE CAKE?... doesnt have to be edible rhinestone, if so.. howd you do it?
I wanted to do a VERY VERY SPARKLY, GLITTERY cake but... im ?.......
any inputs, suggestions or anything is much much appreciated!
I would make dummy tiers completely covered in rhinestones, and alternate the dummy tiers with real cake tiers. That would be the easiest route I can think of to get the totally covered look without having to completely disfigure the poor cake when it's time to serve. And you could re-use the rhinestoned tiers in other cakes down the road.
