I have a customer that wants a cake with cream chz icing with fondant embelishments can u do that they won't mess each other up will they

The true cream cheese icing is really soft. I don,t think the fondant decos will stay up on that. There is a recipe for decorators cream cheese icing . you use crisco or hi-ratio shortening also. It is a different taste than the true recipe, but will hold up to the fondant decos and even covering the cake with fondan.t that recipe is on this site and also on earlene moores site and also on designmeacake.com site. eveywhere!!lol!! i have tried it, it is ok, but not as good as the true cream cheese recipe

The decks are small 3d objects could I just make them with toothpicks inserted into. The ends or rods that way I can insert them into the cake she really wants ref cream chz
