My son's second birthday is coming up soon and he is in love with Elmo and Sesame Street! And I am in love with this cake.

I want to do a variation of this for his birthday. I want to do Cookie Monster and Elmo, each a separate teirs, but instead of fondant, I want to pipe buttercream to give more the fur effect. Since I'm piping fur, I wanted the third character to also be furry.

So, since my son also likes bears, I want to do the top tier as the character Baby Bear.

Trouble is, I've seen no cakes with Baby Bear and don't know that I'd even know where to start on how to make his nose/mouth the correct shape.

Anyone out there ever sculpted a bear or have some idea how I would accomplish this?
