hi

which thickness of wire would be best for using to put stars/butterflies etc on the end and then stick into posy pick then cake. i know the icing won't be thick but there are so many different ones i don't know which one to go for.

i haven't got a shop near by to actually look at them so would be buying them off internet.

i am knew to this website and to cake decorating (only do it for family) so any help will be very grateful.

Would LOVE to know as well! I have sent PMs to a few CCers that use wire but no replies - I seem to be writing only the busy folks! LOL

Look above there is a sticky about using wires in cakes. Lots of people talking about wires and what they use and do.

Just be sure not to place the wire directly in the cake as it is not food safe...you can put it in a straw which is an easy fixicon_smile.gif
