Hello Cakers,

I'm making a baseball cake for my new boss's birthday (just started this job in Ocltober 2010--had been laid off for almost a year); anyway, does anyone have ideas or a template to draw the stitching on a round baseball shaped cake?

I appreciate any feedback I can get. Thanks for looking.

Hmm not sure about a template, Are you using fondant or buttercream icing?

A stitching tool will help with that effect. If you don't have one, you can probably find one at Michael's Craft store or whatever craft store you have in your area.

Yes, I used the stitching tool on my baseball cap and it worked perfect!
