Does anyone have any idea, thoughts, suggestion on freezing a fullly decorated cake? Is this even a good idea? Need help please.
Does it have fondant?
Wrap it CAREFULLY in plastic wrap, and keep it level in the freezer. The most important part of freezing is defrosting. Let it sit on the counter until fully defrosted, THEN cut off the plastic.
I had a 3d cake that the customer picked up, then the party got cancelled due to sudden hospitalization. They froze it for a MONTH and it was "perfect" and "delicious".
