can I print out a picture with it or does it just print out images? I need something that can do both. Any recomendations?

Cricut cake doesn't print at all, at least not on gumpaste or fondant. It will print on paper and if you get it lined up right you can then cut (paper). A printer only prints. I know of nothing that does both as far as cakes are concerned. If you follow Linda McClure's instructions you can print on gumpaste with a printer and then cut out with a silhouette electronic cutter as it has a print and cut feature. Check out her website.
