Was just wondering if anyone has purchased the Cake Stackers Stand System, and if so what do you think about it??

I think it's an interesting concept, but very pricy and unnecessary.

I'll have to agree with lilmissbakesalot. good concept but too pricy and unnecessary. And i'm not so sure about having so much metal and screws in my cake. I'd much rather go with the SPS system.

YEa I was thinking same thing about all the metal, but they make it look so easy to assemble and travel with. Thanks for your input

Having traveled with many cakes... and only using dowels and cardboard cake circles... we worry WAY too much about it. I always make sure my cakes are chilled and they always arrive unscathed. I use bubble tea straws and a central dowel nowadays and never have issues.

(suppose I should knock on some wood now right?? LOL)

The big thing with the cake stackers system is that you have to charge a huge deposit to cover any loss and then the venue has to know how to take it apart. I know I would be swearing taking that thing apart to serve a cake.
