would love any advice on how best to do stripes on cakes ?
firstly - how to get them straight and look like they are part of the first layer of fondant that covered the cake?
secondly - how do you cover a cake completly with strips so they taper into the middle - is their a speaial way to do it? and do you put a layer of fondant on the cake first then put on the strips or do you just attach them to the buttercream/ ganash on the cake - thanks
