Besides my son's birthday cake I'm making, I also have to make my daughter's 1st birthday cake but that is going to have butterflies on it. I thought having grass at the bottom and flowers and then thought about piping some butterflies free-hand with a sun in the corner, a rainbow on the one side and then like 2 small butterflies and 1 big one flying. I was set on just piping it myself, but these pictures of cakes with fondant things look so nice. What is the best brand of fondant? I have never worked with fondant. icon_confused.gif It's going to be on a funfetti cake. I guess another question would be which is the easiest to work with, and one that tastes good and won't ruin the whole taste of my cake. Would it taste good with regular frosting underneath? I'm sure there are directions on the container, but is there anything I would need to do special to be able to work with it? Thank you!
