Use a box of instant vanilla jello pudding, a pint of whipping cream, a teaspoon of vanilla, and a cup of confectionary sugar. Beat all of it together at once until it gets thick.
I like using pastry pride, a small box of instant pudding, vanilla bean, and vanilla extract. Pastry pride doesn't have to be refrigerated and is more stable than whipped cream.
Ive never heard of pastry pride. Where do you get that Cathy?
I haven't heard of pastry pride either. And you are saying to use that instead of the whipping cream?
