I have been asked to make and supply cupcakes for a tea rooms and would appreciate any help you can give me with flavours and toppings that are popular with customers.

I've worked in a few tea rooms, although have never seen cupcakes but, favourite cake flavours are usually carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, lemon cake with a zesty lemon buttercream and maybe vanilla for those a little more picky as everyone likes vanilla. Oh and maybe coffee...
