I'm not a big cake or frosting fan, but I recently made strawberry shortcake truffles and they were a huge hit. It was vanilla cake, purreed strawberries, and white chocolate combined. Add a little food color because the real strawberries gave it a dull color. I have a weird texture thing, everything I eat has to have a crunch to it, maybe i'll try adding some mini choc chips next time. My two cents
